So i recently got a job, and it has allowed me to buy some nice big ass canvases, and an easle, sadly, it has also chewed up allot of my time, still today i managed to get started on one of them, nothing fantastic so far, just breaking in the main figures and basic shapes, and starting to shove in some light sources. once i've finished sticking on all the shapes I'll start to add details (and clothes).

still painting in black and white, not confident enough to use colour (plus the black and white paint pots i have are easier to use, i hate squeezing stuff outta tubes).

Very nice! The dramatics of black and white exaggerates everything in comparison to color, but in a good way.

oh gee, thanks for the comments on my side. ur art and my art is very very different!!!!! u have a cool sketchy style , and u have a great way with creating effects! ( but wadz w the morbid themes, dude?! haha) nice to see u ard in the neighbourhood!

Vikings are not morbid :P vikings are AWESOME! Although it's kinda hard to tell they're vikings at the moment, since i havn't painted any clothing or armour yet.

now this is what i call a painting...

Wow! Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done. I've been meaning to add you to my hood but this is the first I've been back in weeks. I mean, you've called me insane, I've let you....hood status!

the shadows look like faces - like the lower right hand side, where the guy's head looks like one of the eyes on that face
